Me Like Cats…

Thursday, November 15th, 2007

So, I’ve been running Apple’s latest OS update, Leopard, for a couple weeks now. While certainly not revolutionary, it’s definitely worth the price of admission. Since I’ve been busy with work lately, I’ve been sufficiently passed by every other site on the web with full length reviews, and will therefore pass on writing one myself. Probably the best available is John Siracusa’s at arstechnica.com

My favorite new feature is definitely Spaces. While the new virtual desktop has received some complaints, I’ve found it to be the first virtual desktop implementation that I’ve used for longer than a week before getting frustrated and ditching it. I find it very intuitive and works the way I want to work. I haven’t taken the leap on the Time Machine yet. Honestly, it’s all the little things that are almost too small to mention separately that add up to a valuable upgrade.

Order it from Amazon.com and help support this site: Apple Mac OS X Version 10.5 Leopard or Apple Mac OS X Version 10.5 Leopard [5-User Family Pack].
